Etude House Color Lip fit
Etude House Disney collection
Hi! I'm Mimi, a make up hoarder who lives in Sydney!
My blog contains things I ♥ and adore + reviews and random ramblings.
Hi guys, I’m back with a belated review today ><. Today I will be reviewing Etude House lock n’ summer cushion liner. As you guys may know, beautynetkorea are/were refunding their customers who bought this liner, unfortunately I didn’t get mine from there so I didn’t get a refund.
Initially I bought this product because I loved the new concept. This was the first brand who were releasing a cushion form eyeliner and I just had to give it a go! This eyeliner comes in five different colours, I chose BR401 since it was a more natural and suitable for everyday wear.
Description: this is a cushion liner that coats eyes with vivid color for powerful, energetic eyes.
In the box you receive the eyeliner container and a very mini eyeliner brush which I did not use due to its small size and flimsiness, therefore I opted for my Mac brush instead.
For this review I did not get a chance to probably swatch it. The first time I used it, it was fine, except I found it a bit drying. The more I used it, the drier the content was (even though I properly shut the lid) and I had to apply it harshly to make it appear on my eyes. By the time I got it out for review it was all dried out! It is pretty much unusable and I will probably be throwing it in the bin.
This is one of the first Etude House product which I’m disappointed in. The concept was great, new and exciting but it didn’t deliver. When you apply it, it barely looks like how the eye liner looks on the model in Etude House’s promotional pictures, and instead it looks like very dried eyeliner.
I’ve seen some reviews of Korean bloggers and it looks like it works perfectly fine, like how it should. So I have no idea if I just have a faulty one. But I definitely know other people who have had similar experiences.
Overall I’m very disappointed and felt like I have wasted my money on this product. My Etude House liner that cost $5 works ten times better than this $9 liner. So if you are looking for a liner, I suggest straying away from this particular product as there are plenty of other liners out there which perform a lot better. :)
I rate this: 1 big, sassy Sehun ‘no’ out of 5

I have announced the giveaway winner a day earlier since I’m not going to be home tomorrow! Congratulations Eugenia for winning!~ I have emailed you and sent you a message in your ask! Please reply soon~~~ ^^
I also want to thank everyone for participating! I hope to hold many other awesome giveaways in the future! :)
Hey guys! How is everyone doing? This round up today is going to be from my buys from the last two months, since I missed out last month’s post due to exams and all those boring stuff. But now they are over and I have holidays, which probably means I will frequently visit the shops ><. Just a little reminder that my giveaway ends tomorrow!~ So if you haven’t entered, feel free to enter!~
There’s a lot of things I just crumble over when I see them at the shop; that is cute stationery, homeware and Asian cosmetics. I stocked up on some A4 exercise book you can put in your binder, the cutest scallop cup and a cardboard stag head!~
I’ve recently discovered Frankie magazines. I think all their issues comes with cute posters and the content is also quite good. I also bought Cosmo, a book filled with short stories. I haven’t read so much yet since I’m currently reading another book ><.
I am in love with this dress, picked it up at dotti for $15 dollars from $80. It is just a tad to low cut at the front>< .

Cutest $5 top from valley girl! I’m so in love with pineapples, especially the cute, cartoon print ones!
Daiso knick knacks
If you live in Australia and you’re interested in home ware/ decorating, you should definitely check out K-mart! They have affordable, replicas of home items that are actually really good quality for its price! I picked this side table for only $30! I’m particularly interested in Scandanavian styled interior (lots of wood and white), so this stool was a must have!
Has anyone seen abnormal summit? It’s currently my favourite Korean show out! I love Alberto, Sam, Enes, Robin, Daniel (cause he’s Australian). Actually the whole cast are flawless and I love how funny and insightful the show is. It’s pretty interesting getting to know about people’s point of view, and facts about other countries.
The miniature World cup trophy (yes I know it ended ages ago, I miss watching it so much T_T) is made with a 3D printer. I thought it’ll feel like paper but it’s pretty solid like plastic.
Cause, who doesn’t love Giroud?

Hi guys! ~ Its felt like so long since I’ve last written reviews. Unfortunately I’ve been extremely busy lately, but I promise that I will still post frequently. Two weeks ago, I got my Etude House Disney products in the mail. Initially I wanted to get a lot of products from the range, but somehow I managed to settle with three products (It was a hard decision). I ended up purchasing the mascara inspired by Jasmine from Aladdin, the nail polish inspired by Snow white and the Cinderella eye shadow glitter. Today I will be reviewing the Happy Ending Lash Perm Proof Shockcara.
Description: This is repackaged mascara and features Jasmine inspired packaging to add length and volume to lashes!
It is a super waterproof mascara with super looking technology. Smudge Zero all day. Powerful shocking volume with blue motor brush.
Capacity : 10 g
The packaging for the products across the whole range of this Disney collection is absolutely gorgeous and I think Etude House did an amazing job with their packaging design as the designs are so distinct that you can tell which Disney princess each product is inspired by. I love how they made the cardboard box look like a story book! When I think of the name of their collection ‘Princess happy ending’, I think of stories. I think the box would also make a pretty decorative item and it is something that I will not throw out! ~
It also has English instructions, description and ingredients printed on the box and a fancy little, Aladdin inspired barcode.
The packaging of the actual mascara is sturdy, and I love the beautiful teal colour of its lid and the gold, decorative font.
What I like about this mascara is its flexible, thin wand. This makes the brush easy to manoeuvre, and I can reach the eyelashes in the inner corner of my eyes.
The formula is also not thick, so it doesn’t clump easily, it is also neither too wet or too dry. In the past I’ve experienced a few mascara with a wet consistency, and if you blink after applying it smudges everywhere, but luckily this doesn’t do that!~
I think this mascara does a good job at lengthening my short lashes! Prior to using the mascara I curled my lashes with Shu Uemura’s lash curler and I find that the curls hold for a few hours. My lashes also looks a bit thicker, but nothing mind blowing. I have rubbed my eyes with these on (by accident) and been under the rain, and I must say that this mascara is definitely smudge proof and water proof!
Although it is good that the mascara is smudge proof and water proof, removing it is a hassle. I find it difficult to remove this mascara with cheap, drugstore eye make up remover (I use garnier or nivea). Only my high-end brand make up remover by Shu Uemura works well.
My eyelashes look considerably longer and more voluminous!
I rate this: 4/5

Hi guys!~ I’m back with another product release today ^^. Etude House has once again bombarded us with tons of cute, new products, which is a good and a bad thing ><. First of all, I’ve been quite busy lately so I am trying my hardest to write up reviews for the Disney Etude House products ><, but I should be a lot more free and active on tumblr in a couple of weeks.
So I was browsing Etude House’s website and they just released this wonderful collection called ‘Zoom in the Zoo’. The collection reminds me a lot of the jungle. Usually I’m not a big fan of some of nail polish colours in this collection, but Etude House has somehow managed to come up with a cute theme which is definitely getting my attention!~
I feel like a lot of the nail polish in the collections are very wearable, especially the nude colour!~ I absolutely love the packaging, and the cute little zoo animals that are printed on the bottle!
They also have a glitter/metallic nail polish range. I love the grey colour so much!~ I do wish that they would’ve included zoo animal glitter, that would’ve been cool!~
Overall they released quite a lot of colours. I love how all the colours suit the theme and some are wearable and others are a bit more flamboyant. Which colour do you fancy?
